Speakers

We are excited to have these dynamic speakers sharing the platform in the 2010 Annual AELM Conference.

Dr. John Best and his wife Carolyn founded Exchanged Life Ministries Texas in 1985. Previously John served as a church youth and music director, Christian radio announcer, and for 13 years taught at Dallas Theological Seminary. God lovingly led him through an intense inner struggle to come to know Christ as life, transforming him from the inside out. Continuing to grow through training at the Grace Life Conference, Workshop and Advanced Training John saw God reveal Christ as life to others from the beginning. Through this God called him to make the biggest decision of His career, leaving his position of Assistant Professor of New Testament Literature and Exegesis to found and minister full time with ELMT. He has not retired but in 2008 left the daily life of the office to give his time to theological research, writing, teaching and consulting with other exchanged life offices in the AELM, becoming President Emeritus, and Director of Research and Exposition. He relishes the Lord and loves teaching and writing about Christ and our union with Him through the cross and His indwelling. He and Carolyn reside in the Dallas, Texas area where they enjoy their two daughters and six grandchildren.

Ralph Harris is president of LifeCourse Ministries in Longmont, Colorado. Speaking to churches and groups all over the world, Ralph has been in the ministry since 1983. A dynamic, yet sensitive speaker, he is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and of Life Pacific College in San Dimas, California. Prior to beginning LifeCourse Ministries in 2004 with his wife Sarah, he served as Senior Pastor of The Lighthouse Church of Long Beach in Southern California for over ten years. Previously, he served as Youth and Singles Pastor at Desert Chapel in Palm Springs, California and Children’s Pastor at Faith Community Church in Covina, California. He and his wife now reside in Longmont, Colorado.
